During our morning meeting at work this morning it was reported to us that a motorcyclist near the Carver land fill crashed into a water tank truck. The motorcyclist was traveling at a high rate of speed 90 to 100 mph, and on the wrong side of the road. The tanker truck had just left the land fill and was traveling down the road at approx 20-25 mph when the accident happened. The bike came around the bend on the wrong side of the road heading straight for the truck. The operator of the bike laid it down, the bike struck the front of the truck and blew apart. The front channel iron of the truck that the front bumper mounted to was pushed into the front wheel. The rider of the bike was med flighted out and from what we under stand not expected to live. There was a second motorcyclist that was with him but not involved.
Know where your riding, what is around, and use your head.
Apparently this guy didn't and may now pay the ultimate price.....
