You all think it's outrageous however has anyone considered the dumb general public that eats up anything like this?

One thing's for sure, I will ALWAYS support my child in what they want to do, especially regarding sports activities. If it's rock climbing, so be it. If it's chess, fine. If it's motorcycle racing, absolutely. As long as I can provide my child with an environment to flourish in so they can be the best at what they choose to do, I have done my part as a parent and supporting role model. The people who are screaming "child abuse" likely have never noticed how fat their child is. Which is more abusive, supporting your child's interests or locking them in a room that's safe from the evils of the outside world?

This is what made me actually post about it...

makes me literally sick to think how many people watched that and agreed 100% and then even sicker to think that elected officials might try and take this to another level....

Another reason to hate Fox News (but to be fair I'm sure most channels will run that same story). As soon as I heard this I new it would turn into this debate.

I hope for nothing more than my kids to have a passion for something that constructive. I don't care what arena it is. It is productive and it will help teach them (with guidance) invaluable lessons on being good humans.
