    Women's leather jackets?

Anyone have a recommendation of a leather jacket for frequent street use? I have a Cortech mesh with great liners that keeps me warm down to the 40s, but I feel like a sausage and can't move very well in it when I have all the liners in. I also have the Alpinestars Stella 1-piece suit for trackdays, so zipper attachments are not necessary. Just looking for an affordable (under $250) leather jacket to wear on chilly days. I like the fit of A*s and Power Trip, but am not brand-loyal.

    Thanks!

I love my REV'IT gear. I have 2 that I wear all the time on the street. Might be a bit out of your price range, but it will last you a long time. Plus Seacoast carries it! Best stuff I have owned for the street and i have owned various makes and models. Good luck!

Yeah, unfortunately, price range is non-negotiable. Wish I could stretch the budget, but just not in the cards. there are lots I have seen for 300+ that I love, but I can't spend that. If I don't find one worthy, I just won't buy it, I have no shortage of gear...it's just a comfort thing at this point.

All that said, is Rev'It "full" in the chest area, or no? I don't have much to fill the space, so a lot of women's brands don't fit me terribly well (but men's stuff just fits like a box), for example, I can't wear Icon or Joe Rocket without stuffing my bra.

I got an AStars Stella 6-3 for $150 on Craigslist - looks like it's $250 online. I haven't worn it riding yet, but it does fit comfortably and seems warm enough. I have wide shoulders and lack a rack too, and it doesn't look boxy on me. Want me to update when I wear it riding? (This week I hope!)

Funny you should mention that. I am also not big in the top area (I like to call it streamlined for racing). That is why i like the REV'IT gear. My Tecknic and Joe Rocket are both big the chest. I have only had one Alpinestars jacket (that zipped to my pants for racing) and that was the second best fit, but the arms were too big. The armor in the elbow actually shifted during a crash which caused a nice bruise.

My REV'IT is a leather and textile mix that is very comfortable. The only other piece I wear regularly are my Vanson leathers.

Thanks for the input. I will look into Rev'it, and go from there. You never know what kind of closeouts might be around the corner.
