Where to buy jackets?

Does anyone know a good place to find leather jackets? All the places around me only carry joe rocket and I'd like to find a store that actually stocks something like alpinestars or teknic. Obviously the closer to me (cape cod) the better. THanks!

Yea I live by newenough. However I need a place that I can go try on jackets to see how they fit, as in not an online store. I guess I should have made that more clear.

Brockton cycles in brockton mass not sure of everything they carry but they do have a large selection.

I've had great luck with www.kneedraggers.com. They've always phoned me with any issues with orders, and do what they can to fix things up quick. Having an issue with newenough, but I seem to be the minority. They told me they shipped my pants last MONDAY, yet 7 business days later, nothing. If I dont see them tomorrow, gonna give them yet another call. I dont care if they sent someone out on foot, it shouldnt take 8 business days to send me a 5lb package.

If your close to the cape like me... I usually go to Motorsports Accessories on Rt 6 in Westport. They have a pretty good selection but they are a bit pricey IMO. You could try on the Jacket then find it cheaper on the net. Plus they will order you anything you want.

if they sent it UPS ground then it takes a little over 9 days to ship to me. you should get it pretty soon.

They sent it USPS, so who knows. 8 business days and still nada. I've shipped stuff "snail mail" (large, heavy packages) overseas to Europe and its taken less time than this. Must be the holidays.

Got some really sweet deals going on right now at Brockton Cycle. My wife and I just picked up 2 really nice Fieldsheer textile jackets for under $100 FOR BOTH! Combined they retail at over $250.

Just make sure you know the prices on the web site if you decide to take a ride down there. They tried charging me $65 for a jacket that was $49.99 on their web site.

FYI, both jackets have full crash padding, elbows, shoulders, and back pad.

Looks like the Icon TiMax jacket I just got is going up for sale on eBay & craigslist.

I actually went to brockton cycle center today. It was hugggee compared to what we have around here. Good selection of jackets. However there was only 1 leather alpinestars jacket and about 6 or 8 textiles. I was also disappointed that they didnt have teknic either. Real nice place though, friendly staff too.

They have both textiles & leathers available. They had some leather pants (both perforated and non) for $120-$150.

They "said" it was shipped Monday June 26. But thats neither here nor there, back to the jacket thread.
