This is typical NESR ride bashing from people that weren't there.
Maybe it wasn't a good idea to put the logo on the video, but it wasn't like it was crystal clear video with visible plates, etc...so a lot of bullshit for nothing. I appreciated the fact Mo had his video and put the effort in making it and he pulled it when the point of the logo was brought up, but come on guys...this isn't new england SCOOTER riders, so quit acting like bitches.
Maybe a mod can lock this thread...it's obviously not going anywhere.

OK...
I've now seen both of em! Both look fine to me...with or without the NESR label...
YouTube- April 3rd Sat Open Season Ride...wmv
I thought the production values of this one were particularly good!

OK let me say, seeing I STARTED IT. It was NOT the video itself. The intro line said NESR ride and speeds of 130mph.. that's what I objected too. Now that is paraphrased as I don't remember the exact. Why post that on FB? who cares about the videos. If I am an asshole for objecting to that well you can all go FUCK yourself. Do we not all remember the whole BULLSHIT last year at Motorcycle Night in Lowell with the Statey's WHY would we want to promote our spirited rides on a National Social Network Site??? That is all so you all can go FUCK YOURSELVES
Shep...I don't think it says that anymore. If it did, I'd agree with you ...especially when you reminded me of last year's Bike Night fiasco. The intro line said [B]NESR ride and speeds of 130mph..
I would love to f__k myself. Unfortunatley I'm not well enough endowed to make the necessary connection...

Man this is the interwebz. People can comment. I took my previous post up because obviously it pissed you off. You need to relax a little. We are all here to ride. I was not a fan of the passing each other. You stated you were waved on. Thats all you had to say before. It would not have been my type of ride. I know it sounded like it but I was not trying to cause a world of shit. So sorry if I offended you. You had fun you got home safe.
Monster. The cinematic quality and the vid were both great.
Nothing personal guys. Sorry for pissing in your Cheerios. Lets all get along, ride and be happy.

I missed all of you on that ride, staying up till 4 didn't help. I did however try to catch up but still couldn't find you guys. That being said there was a very cute girl working in athens pizza in greenfield...
This is funny cause I had my monthly meeting for my 4wheeling club last night and we are dealing with this exact issue.
A few former members posted a video on youtube of them wheeling. They were boozing and wheeling in a very unsafe manner with disregard to everything in the area. Pretty par for the course actually. Awesome video, but he had a club banner on the windshield. Our club president received an email from a lady in CA that complained because the guys were not treading lightly and giving our sport a bad name. Fair enough. She also threatened to call the local police department and a whole slew of other nonsense. Basically she’s a huge cunt.
The funny part is that it’s all private land so there’s nothing she can do about it nor the police or the EPA. Now I’d be inclined to say fuck off, but if she calls the police and they question the club we just became a target. Now when I’m on the road am I going to get hassled for having an illegal lift and rims? Maybe, but I don’t wanna run that risk.
My point is it’s just not worth it. It invites unwanted eyes looking at us and we don’t need that cause we all break the law. If something like that gets passed on to the MA state police (who fucking hate us from the show last year) and I get pulled over for 5-10 over and I have an NEStreet Riders sticker on my bike my chances for a warning just fell dramatically.

Paragraphs from a Vermont Drivers Education Manual
A vehicle shall not pass another from the rear under any of the following conditions:
* When approaching or upon the crest of a hill or upon a curve in the highway where the driver's view is in any way obstructed;
* When approaching within one hundred feet of, or traversing, any intersection or railroad grade crossing unless otherwise indicated by official traffic control devices; or
* When the view is obstructed upon approaching within one hundred feet of any bridge, viaduct or tunnel.
Under no conditions can a motor vehicle be passed by driving off the pavement or main traveled part of the road.
Major highways are marked with yellow center lines which serve two purposes....the lines show if you should or should not pass. If there is a solid line or two solid lines, it is recommended that you do not pass. If there is a solid line but a broken line in your lane, you may pass if it is clear ahead. If there is a solid line in your lane but a broken line in the other lane, you should not pass, but the motor vehicle in the other lane may pass.
These paragraphs don't mention "No Passing" signs which from my understanding do actually represent zones where it is illegal to pass.
Note... RECCOMENDED that you do not pass. Not illegal.

Exactly! Perhaps I should have put that word in BOLD for all those less bright than Doc.
You're mistaken. Sheldon's rides don't actually roll. We show up at MotoMarket at 9:00am and wait till 1:00pm for all his peeps to show. By then Sheldon's time is up and we all go home.
Although in most areas I have been in Vermont passing on a double yellow isn't the smartest thing to do.

Well I was doing 110 and figured that was more than fast enough to make up some ground...certainly not the safest idea but I figured I'd catch up at the lunch in new hampshire.
