Well I'm home and still can't believe my bike is up in NH. At least I'm fine and the damage was not that bad, all hard parts are ok I think. Couldn't ride it because of the broken clipon.

Basically I stopped for the red light and the guy behind me (which was some local guy that was tagging along, not really part of the group) kept going and ran into me.

Now I get the joy of dealing with the insurance company and all that crap. Hope to be back on the road soon. Aside from this insient I enjoyed the ride and meeting everyone.

I'm glad you are ok. Overall it was a good ride and it was nice to meet you and all the other guys. Don't let yourself get into the "what if" game. I guess some times shit just happens

i was talking with a friend the other day and he starts to tell me about a bike accident that happended in right front of him at a green light.

he couldn't figure out why all the bikes crashed.

i beleive he helped a couple of you pick up your bikes.

The Duke is still at Computrack. Twisted frame, triple clamps out of whack ,bit of rash on the clutch cover. Peter was going to order parts on Friday. I hear parts take a while to come by. It'll probably be a few more weeks before I get it back.

My insurance company sucks and I'm going to have to fight with them to get all my money.

Holy shit, the frame got bent from that accident. You didn't go down too hard. Hopefully theres no other surprises found.

It's a very slight twist (to quote Peter). He said that it may have actually come from the factory like that and it'll be as good as or better than new when he's done. I beleive him.

Thanks for the offer, I appreciate it. So far it's not a matter of whether they'll pay. They will. Right now it's a matter of how much. The total for labor and parts is just under two grand. The insurance company came back with $1150. They're only willing to pay a labor rate of $35 an hour. Every shop I know of charges like $70. per hour. The bastards sent me a list of shops that'll work for $35 an hour. Guess what. They're all car shops. What a bunch of assholes.

Something like that. I think he just wasn't paying attention / was tired. I'm pretty sure it was one of his first group rides too so he wasn't used to 300-500 mile days of riding. Plus those punk kids never go to bed before 3am anyways.

I think maybe we should add in a Group ride rule that you should have INS. in order to ride with us, not too mention maybe we should not pick up strays anymore, people that come from the site, or come with someone from the site have an idea of whats going on.. But I think if your gonna ride in a group or at the pace we sometimes ride you really should have INS. Coverage..
