Girls Ride

I'm thinking a Saturday or a Sunday, end of May, beginning of June. Sundays work best for me. All day ride in the Berkshires, stop at Applebee's in Pittsfield for lunch. I have a good route all traced including some nice twisties and very little traffic.

"All day ride" means we would be leaving early, around 8-9a.m. in the morning, and come back around 5 p.m. For those of you who live a little bit further away, let me know if you can make it for that time.

Another thing, I'd like to know if you girls would like for this one to be an all girls ride only, or do we invite our fellow riders of the male gender...

Sounds like fun. I would be better able to do June, and I might need a couch to crash on Sat. night. Springfield is a long 3 hours away.

Oh, and I think a girls' ride would be fun, and something we don't usually do!

About having our fellow male riders joining, that's what I'm waiting to see if the other girls would prefer this also. Maybe we could do as someone suggested a few years back, start the ride girls only for all morning, then they could join us at Applebee's for lunch and we take it from there. OR, we can do an all day girls ride only, we'll see what everyone thinks about it and we'll go from there!

I think an all girls ride would be fun but do you think there would be enough girls? I usally ride with the guys so I think it might not be bad if they could tag along. but I don't know I just want to ride the twisties other then that i don't care.

If you look at this link http://groups.myspace.com/NewEnglandSportbikeGirls you'll see there is over 20 girls who ride sportbikes not too far from each other That and I know of a few more that are not on there. I'm pretty sure we can get a nice little gang to go riding the twisties!

Just post up what day (Saturday or Sunday) is best for you. Just trying to get a feel of what the girls can/cannot do as far as dates for now.
