Me, too! Got a $10 Slime mini-compressor, as well. A $17 tire kit, all from Wally-Mart! (But the compressor is wired for a cigarette lighter, which I had put in over the winter.)After the last ride I bought some tire plugs

I'm screwed on the compressor, still have to lean on a few others on that account. One of these days I'll really wire the bike right for a bunch of different accessories.

im going to get into the habbit of carying slime and a tire plug kit. last week i ran over a bolt in the weirs and was screwed for 2 hours while i waited for a ride to wally world for a kit. It took me 2 plugs that i had to stuff into the hole with my fingers and a bottle of slime. In the end i rode back to franklin with the plug and had no problem.
Well, we will certainly become known as the best prepared group to hit the road for a casual ride!!! Good stuff!
In 10 years of leading these rides, last month was the first time we have ever had tire problems. And we ended up fixing tires on TWO bikes...and one of them TWICE! Fortunately, between McBride with the valve core and me with the compressor, we got got going again with little delay.

I also bought a compressor and the snot worms (VIP has a small compressor with a built in gauge for around $12 in case anyone is looking for one).

So ... Dave...
In order for me to actually be able to even consider this ride... A lot has to happen... So...
If I bring the bike to work Saturday night.. I work a 14 hr shift until 8am Sunday ... Then go back in Sunday night at 6pm... So ... If the thing we don't talk about is good... If I have minimal patients and can actually get some shut eye ... Is there any way I can be put on reserve just in case someone backs out?
Reality being there is a 5% chance on my end I can do it...
Oh, and my relief crew needs to be On time or early for me to make it ... So yea ... 5%
