Dude, Ive got you covered. I may actually go ahead early and do a little actual ride and meet you guys there. I finish work at 2:30 and doont want to hand here till degs can leave at 5:30.

Good short ride... Lots of great people... Lots of amazing bikes. Manny's 1098 is teh sex.

Well...you do have new tires on that badboy. Maybe just needed to warm them up a bit. The fading light didn't help anything...at least under my smoked shield. As for Manny's 1098...time to wind that up above 4,000.

I think the tires are good... got just under 500mi on them, scrubbed in all the way to the edges, etc. I just didn't know the road and came in a little hotter than I would have liked on that second turn... had to scrub some speed and lean a little more than I expected. Surprises and sportbikes don't go very well together. I realized I really shouldn't be charging on an unknown road... at dusk... on a new bike... with relatively new tires... with a group behind me... Figured it would be better to tone it down a bit.

Figured it would be better to tone it down a bit.

Agreed on your judgment. Plus, my vision was not the greatest with a dark shield in fading light, so I have no complaints. Great road.
