Hello, I would like to join the group ride. I'm a long time rider, but never rode in a large group before. I typically ride with just a couple of friends. I have a question.... what / where is Moto market? I guess I will hookup with the ride at Hooter's in Nashua at 8am. Looking forward to the ride and meeting everyone.

Moto Market is in Acton Massachusetts. It is a combination of a Coffee Cafe and a MC Accessory Store. All and all a great place and very friendly staff and regulars. It is on 2A/119. A little over 2 miles from 495 and the same from Rte 2.

I just picked up my SV1KS last week, and have been riding my Volusia for quite some time. I would definitely be up for a ride. Sounds like the Pace is fun, but not overly aggressive. What speeds are we generally talking about. Rolling into the trips, or just generally fracturing the posted limits by a little more than the LEOs like.

Always a little difficult to be the new guy in a regular group.

Oh yeah, Moto Market have "Metric" Bike nights on Thursdays (looks like tonight may be a washout) and generally is a good meet up place on the weekends and a lot of people will gather between 8 - 10 in the morning and head out on their rides.

OK, here's the route I have planned. Thanks to Sarah (sahd03) for the info and emailed maps.

We start out from Motomarket and take route 2 out to western mass, then we take a right onto rt 8a in Charlemont up towards route 100 (or continue on rt 2 to North Adams and take rt8 and rt 100). We will take rt 100 all the way to Stratton (lunch in Wilmington on the way) and take a couple of sweet high elevation roads (if they are open and not dirt) to meet rt30 in Bondville. From there we take rt100 again all the way up to ludlow and then split off onto rt103 south to Chester, where we will take rt35 to Townshend and then rt 30 to Brattleboro. We can then decide to slab it back or take rt119 back to Mass.

Everyone ok with that? It will be a long day but rt 100 is an awesome road.

Suggestions please.

Can there be a stop somewhere around Greenfield to pick up Jesey Devil 68 and myself? We'll be coming down I91. I've never been there before, so I can't reccomend a landmark, but someone must have a clue. Also, what's your best guess as to when the ride will be passing through there.
