My brother and I will be there - He will be on his GS1000 and I will be on an old XS650. My daughter's boyfriend will be with us on his '82 KZ750.

Last year there was a scheduling conflict with the R-O-R and the IMOG. We tried to catch both, but we arrived in Sturbridge just as the Italian meet was closing down. The ride from N. Brookfield to Sturbridge was amazing, though, with all kinds of 2-strokes and old bikes on the roadways leading to and from each event. I think that the Larz Anderson show was also on the same day.
This year, I believe that the IMOG is the following week?

Expat, Hope to meet you as well, but it got me thinking,..I have been so several events where folks "hope to meet" but it seems like we never do. I mean, nobody wears name tags that say NESR: GregP, NEDB: Greg, ADV: Gplassm, or anything like that. I mentioned that I would be on a Yamaha XS650, and that my brother will be on his GS1000, but we most likely will not be standing by our bikes for long... So, I really would like to actually meet some of the folks on this forum, but I do not know how to tell you to recognize us - We are Japanese/American, look like brothers, I am 49, my brother is 53.
My brother would surely give you some pointers on your YSR...
I guess it would help if I had an NESR shirt or something... Maybe I will make up a sticker, or a piece of tape with my name on it.. LOL.

I was planning to go on either the 79 kz750 (if it's running) or the 92 zr750, but looks like it's the same day as Larz Anderson and I wanted to take the triumph to that... And larz is way closer to me.... Have to think about this one.

Anyone been to both? Which is better?

I have not been to the LA show, but it appears that show is more of a champaign and crumpet event, where as the R-O-R is a beer and hot dog event...
Super nice unobtainium at Larz, vs. some rusted old "memories" bikes at
R-O-R.

I do not know if it is an S model, but it is definately WC rep colors (pale blue/white).
The XS I will be on is metallic black.

The Lars show is definitely a cool time...I've been to both the Euro day and the rice o rama...great people...laid back and tons of bikes....I met a bunch of guys from the Yankee Beemer club..great club....don't miss the shows.

Sweet. I plan on trailering the bike up but will most definatly go for a ride with you folks around the area...would be fun to get a smokey pack going down the street and everyone jockying for the lead clean air spot LOL

I alternate years on the larz vs rom show...Take the aprilia rs250 to the larz show...
