Im heading out now, wouldnt be opposed to having someone to ride with. I'll probably be around in the Western Mass area, maybe some of Southern VT/NH. I'll check my phone fairly frequently, so if you want to hook up, just give me a call.

Damn Rob, I went up into VT and found some fucking sweet roads that we were literally minutes from on our ride last year. One road I did 3 times, because it was simply that good.
All told I did 300 miles and had an 8.5 out of 10 on the fun scale, only because I didnt find any REALLY sharp corners to munch some of my chicken strip off on.![]()

RT-31 and RT-56
if you don't mind
wish the gorvement would be more serious about cleaning the roads ...
The frost heaves are getting better. I'd say another 2-3 weeks and the roads should be flat again.
With Vermont, you dont really need a destination. I discovered like 2-3 new really good roads today that I've ridden past a bunch of times before. Seriously, just head up into VT and start riding. Get a fold up map, and look for squiggly lines and head there.
Some good places to start though are Rt. 100, north of Wilmington, VT. Rt. 9 has some decent spots between Brattleboro and Wilmington. I found some decent stuff on 106 today as well, and Rt. 11. And a few of my new ones will remain unnamed, you gotta find some stuff for yourself.![]()
