Ride To The Races - Sunday Sept 2 - Put your pics here!

Fun ride yesterday! 12 vehicles and 13 people left the BK Parking lot at 9:00!



After a nice ride, with one dirt section 'SURPRISE' and one blown stop sign, we arrived at the Lion Cafe where ?Wendy? got us set up and served with little drama! (I have no pics of this as I was 'trapped' at my table! Hope someone can fill in this gap!)

While we were waiting, Matts wife, Terry, arrived in her RV. Now, I don't know about the rest of you but as I was following the thread earlier I envisioned a Honda Passport or some other SUV. What couldn't have been further from my mind was a 40' Winnebago Chiefton! HOLY CHIT!!! (No pics of this either...same excuse.)

After breakfast we took 107, Kim lost and found her shift lever, and we arrived in Pittsfield where Nate and his girlfriend took her brand new Mini-Cooper S off on their own adventure! We followed 107 to 129 to Louden Ridge Road, to 106 to NHIS and arrived just in time to see the start of the first race!

Thanks to all the racers who welcomed us into their campsites! NESR is a great bunch of folks...in spite of their propensity for wheelies!

Nice meeting you guys! Glad you made it in from across the fence. Now you know where alot of us pit. Feel free to come up and make a weekend out of it!

You should see the tan line from my wearing that skull cap all day. My wife nearly pissed her pants this morning.
