Group Ride rain date: 07-29-06

Well last Saturday was a wash out for the group ride, even those 7 of us still made it out there and enjoyed a whole day of riding under pouring rain.

The rain date is for this coming Saturday, July 29.

Please confirm with me if you're gonna make this ride! Departure from Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield MA (1000 Columbus Avenue) at 9:30 a.m. sharp.

I'm gonna change the route so those of you who joined last week won't ride the same one again...and it should be even better, as we're gonna hit the good parts of Rte 2 (Mohawk Trail) in the Berkshires, and Rte 100 in Vermont.

We can gather at my place after that for hamburgers and jumping in the pool.

I will know better tomorrow, i have to be somewhere in the afternoon/early evening, just not sure on the time. what time do you plan to ride till?

Probably a good thing that I can't make this ride. He and I didn't exactly hit it off too good.

And cheese - since you can make it, can I take the gxxer? lol It was fun to ride and it may be awfully lonely just hanging out all alone at your place

i was only joking about the raw kind of hamburgers.

not sure if i can make it or want to ride the mohawk trail. i think the traffic and cop there suck. no fun riding there.

We're not going to ride the whole route 2...just the end of it and up to NY state, then we're heading to VT to ride some roads there. Either way I'm not pushing to get a big group for this one. I'd like to ride a little faster and not worry too much about anything.

we'll see. the doctor just sticked about 6mm of cortisone in my right shoulder. should help the pain to get to the border.

My bike died out last night. Not sure what is wrong with it, but I have no one that can look at it today. I think I am going to have to pass on the ride.

The ride was awsome, if I knew VT roads were that nice, I would have been there way before. THanks to everyone who showed up!
