I actually prefer to sweep. There were a couple of places where everyone was evenly spaced ahead of me tipping into a curve...it was beautiful.

Thanks for sharing a couple pics that were some of the many entertaining moments during our ride.
Hopefully you had some other good shots in spite of the many "leaf storms" that we went through. Again, thanks for joining us!

Gumby, I was looking through my video footage last night and saw you were behind Ray when his rear tire spontaneously started smoking. What were you thinking at that time?

Looking at those pictures again.. they are surreal.

1) I guess I have really gotten used to seeing the world go by with the V-Strom gauge cluster and windsheild in front of me, its been a while since I've looked at the road across little more than a set of bars
2) The way the camera stops the road surface motion, sureal
3) You must have been freezing your ass off there GC, no fairing to hide behind, no thing in front of your hands.. and I bet your grips aren't even heated. You poor man you!

Point 3 could just be me becoming a spoiled wussie!

I don't know... I must have been inhaling too much of Ray's exhaust.
Now I need to remove a bunch of black specks of tire and tar from my front fairing!
Of course it already needed a good cleaning anyway.

I'm sorry big Guy, I'll never git Metzelers again! Never had this problem with the Bridgestones.

BTW, I have decent pics of everyones bike...unfortunately, I have no idea how the hell to post them. I even downloaded them to Photobucket thinking that would solve my problem, and it did, kinda. You guys want Thumbnail pics??? They're tiny!

Tried ffmpeg? I like it as, once you figure out the command line recipe, you can just let it chew. I would move a copy a couple hundred photos into a sub-dir to play with, then let 'er rip on the main stash once you're happy with the timing.

I did this once.

Actually it all moved pretty easily. I let it take 1 picture every second and I'm trying to put it together .1 second per frame.

What's really killing me is that I can't seem to find the OTHER guy who waved at us...
