Points south would probably save time by going west from Lowell instead of driving further north to get west.

Try 2.5 for me, the way I'm coming. (All back roads and about 20 miles out of the way to meet Lxpony in Orange at 202/2.)

Cutting west from Lowell will save you 20 minutes and you can help out the Burlington guy (drowe531) by leading him to Ringe.

It's not the length of time I ride to get to a starting point, it's the fact that I normally ride it alone.

Makes it an extremely long and boring ride. I may hit Frank up to see if he's interested.
