First just let me say there was no salt or sand on the Gaps so get out this weekend and take a ride somewhere...anywhere.
I had today off from work and since it was supposed to be in the low 50's I decided I had best get out for a little ride. I didn't really have a plan when I left Burlington but I found myself on 116 headed south. I figured why not try and hit the 6 gaps today so I took 17 up to the App gap and the road was dry and sand free. A little chilly at the top but you head down quick enough that it wasn't a problem.
Hit Roxbury Gap next. Some slick, wet dirt on sections of this one and headed down 12a to the next one. Too bad I didn't have a map. I missed the turn for the road over Rochester Gap. I went down 12a to 107 which took me over to 100 and Brandon Gap. Next up was Middlebury Gap back to 100. The road to Lincoln Gap had a road closed sign at the bottom and it was getting late so I booked up 100 to I-89 and back to Burlington.
4 out of 6 Gaps and minimal traffic made for a great day of riding.

Does this mean someone is finally going to get the tag?
