Haha! Great pics. Sorry we didn't get a chance to formally meet.
All I can add is another list of thank yous:
To the USCRA for running another fantastic event and generally just "getting it" when it comes to racing.
To Roland, Jeff, and Jake for letting me ride spectacular bikes pretty much whenever I want!
To Kurlon for scoring again
To Kerry for letting me ride her one of a kind Honda 350!!!
To Arcy for his awesome sauce
And to the rest of the LRRS crew that came out and represented so well. This was not an easy win by any stretch. Jake actually passed out ON the bike after his 47 minute stint!!!
Yes what paul said. Thanks for the great pics arcy and marco!
Thanks to gino for the amazing hawk.
And paul...tell us about the 350!

Well, it has the stiffest subrame in the world! That thing (the whole frame) is seriously stout! The long tank makes for a long reach to the bars. It is pure racebike and stiffly sprung. The motor sounds sweet with earplugs in, and generates some steam if you keep it in the sweet spot, which is 8-10K. The gearbox was incredibly well prepared and one of the slickest I have sampled, new or vintage. Clutchless or with the clutch, shifts were smooth. Almost seamless. The drum brakes ARE quite powerful, but it takes some squeezing to find them.
My ride was VERY cautious, and it got cut short for a red flag just when I was going to get some flow going. So I can't speak too deeply about handling, but it had a real vintage long wheelbase feel. It could corner well, but you had to begin tipping in early to counteract the relatively slow response. What I can say is that the pace these folks ride these bikes is very impressive.
Wow. That sounds quite awesome.
Does that mean she has an excuse for the wide T1 because of the long wheelbase?

Great time great comradery.
Thanks to all for putting this event together and allowing us hooligans a play ground to have some fun.
Bit thanks to out scorer Annalisa for keeping tabs on us for 3 hours. We owe her big time. I'm glad Christian and I could make it a little fun for them!!!! Someone from ECK needs to add https://www.facebook.com/gunsnhosesgals to the group....
Thank to my teammated Christian and Chuck for keeping the pressure on the Darkside. New strategies for next year for the win. Maybe 25# off for me next year...

Thanks to everyone who came out and supported out little club! We love having you! This is the first time I was out there with the big bikes on a little stock CB350 and everyone passed really nicely and I even got a wave and a thumbs up for one rider. This is definitely something we want to keep doing so already looking forward to next year. And congrats to Dark Side for the win!
And thanks Paul for being nice to my "spare." HA! Paul is only the second person to ride my racebike (my teammate who rides almost the exact bike was the other). Wish you could have laid some faster laps down, but I glad it worked out that you could even get out there.
Oh and Hi SmuttyGood to see you this weekend and see you next!

Next year, we will do one of three things:
1) Check with everyone on the correct pressures for the tires we use (if Pirellis). We ended up being a few pounds over what seems to be the sweet spot for the new Pirelli V2 DOT tires.
2) Adjust the suspension to accommodate the Pirelli tires.
3) Use Gino's preferred tire brand (which I cannot say, as my tongue would fall out if I did).
In any event, all 3 of us felt the same sidewall "wiggle", which seems to be due to the rear tire being a few pounds too high. Even though Pirelli officially hasn't changed the recommended pressure between the original and V2 tires.
If the 3 of us had run consistently 1 second faster per lap, we would have been on the same lap.
We can't use bstone chuck. They don't make a race dot in a 160.
