okay, i was on the gixxer forum(club racer). anyway, to make a long story short(kinda). this guy (bmfgsxr) bought a new race bike. he seems like a cool guy. we talked a bit. i posted when i decided to get erics bike. along comes this ADAM #333. he says I could've bought his bike cheaper..whatever.... so i ask what he ran for times(17's). i say cool, gives me somthin to shoot for. so i tell him how derrick timed the film of me and i thought i could go quicker because i was slowin up so i wouldn't get out of camera view. that's when it started.

1st. the only reason i put up those estimated times was because Degsy timed the video when he got home. i don't know how accurate it is....I do know this, i was in the fast group and I believe Tony was the only one to pass me all day.
2nd. I'm 35, black and have to work for a living.. so I'm not counting on winning the AMA championship and goin to MotoGP. This is all for fun...i'm gonna do the best that i can. if i'm a backmarker oh well ..but if i go quicker than your best time well lets just say, you'll be one of the first to know.....

I have Gary on video running 1:23's consistently. He had to virtually stop twice a lap so that I could get around traffic that he was powering past on his 1k (through turn 4 and front straight). I firmly believe that Gary can turn 1:19's without a problem on his 1k. Now, the 750 is a different matter, so we will have to see how he does. What I will say is that Gary is NOT like 95% of the rookies that you see on the track as amateurs their first week. He has either a complete lack of respect for his own well being or an inordinate amount of skill on a performance race bike, I don't know. All I know is that he is VERY VERY fast for someone with only a couple of trackdays under his belt.
