Putting the second TLR caliper back on the front of the SV this weekend. As recommended, I ordered a fresh set of EBC HH pads from Souhegan Valley Motorsports. Ridiculously quick turnaround.
The question I have is I used to use 120 grit sandpaper to clean up the rotors on the race car before mounting new pads... Is this a decent enough grit for brake rotors? Too rough?
Thanks!
Fitz
I use a green scrubbie mounted in a drill fixture...
I mount the pads, do a quick ride around the paddock dragging and stomping on the brakes, then go.
Boston --> San Diego
I test them in T3.
120 grit? Jesus no. Don't put that anywhere near your rotors. If you want to clean your rotors up... Use some Scotch Brite and break cleaner.

All buttoned up. I miss the limited travel of the lever with one brake caliper but it should provide some extra heat capacity. Going to warm them today and then bleed again via vacuum pump.
Thanks!

Get a bigger master, tada less travel! : )
