Re: Group buy for transponders ( any interest )

if people want I will orchestrate the group buy...might be able to get a few more people form BoRn but I doubt we're gonna hit fifty people. if S&C doesn't want to organize I'm happy to do so, but this is gonna be regimented and on a strict time line. I'll post rules and time lines if we take this route.

I would just order one, 5% is a drop in the bucket at best...

true story...we'd be saving about 700 bucks in total on the whole order (about 30ish bucks per person) plus less shipping costs if we had them all sent to one person and dispersed at the track for Round 1

Palm, if you take the point you would get more than 5%.

I can only offer 5% off because of CC processing fees and I'd like not to lose money on the deal.

    gotcha.

OK, I'm happy to run point. I'll start a poll to answer a couple key questions about how we'll organize this.

I know you guys are trying to save money so unless you can get them shipped for under $400 its not worth it. and remember doing it all with paypal you gotta make sure everyone chooses the right option where paypal doesn't take a percentage of the money you send. I forget exactly what option that is.

Just send the cash as a gift in there Personal section so you don"t get hit with there fee's.

(DO NOT use there "Purchase" option on check out, use there "Personal" option when sending $$$ bottom of the page where you normally click "goods/services/ebay")

Re: Group buy for transponders ( any interest )

Ok here is a link that i found

    http://myworld.ebay.com/shopchaosinthecosmos/

I found this seller on a race car forum, I did the best offer price and it took it. I am pretty sure it is set in his settings the first time i put in $ 405 and it rejected the offer second time was $ 408 and it was accepted. [B]but if bid that and it takes it you are stuck buying it . I think this seller does one at a time, so keep checking his page.. Both Recharged and Wired . If you do the wired one you should try in the area of $ 365 ( not sure on that one ) like 10% less the asking price....

Just thought i would you guys know.... good luck in the Electronics Categories
