Yeah, I can dig it. I'm sure I'm just overthinking things as usual. But I really am going for my non-existant amateur achievement, so anyone thats in Sunday race 3 better watch out for me. haha

I won every GTU race this year and before the drop I only have a 32 point lead. 32 POINTS! and its still not enough to lock it up.

with dbl points the most anyone could get is 32pts scott... and with all your wins, you take the tie-braker over anyone - I believe you do have it locked up!

Well, two things. after the drop I have 24 point lead. I have to drop a 16 and 2nd place drops a 8. So I lose out there. So if I zero the last weekend,I lose by 8 points.

ALSO, if there, for some crazy reason, should be a huge turnout in GTU Expert... (much like they have in GTL) the race would pay 24 points to win, or because its doubled, 48 points!!!!

So nothing is locked up. I like the old way. I would be enjoying a mountain dew and a hotdog while watching the GTU race from T3 on the last weekend!

Double with a drop. They announced it that way at the banquet. And its safe to say, with the double points the last weekend..... ALL championships will be decided at the last round.

I am not a fan of the double points thing at the end of the year. Seems kinda foolish but it is the way they are doing it this year.

ahhhh ok sorry didnt quite grasp everything... well thats some BS right there... but I must say it does make it more exciting having you out there trying to lock it up - I'd much rather watch you race than drink mt dew... but eating a hot dog on the other hand...
