The event tickets are 50 bucks for all 4 days.

I have no idea how much the airline tickets are, I used frequent flier miles.

Yup. Bill Morey and I are racing. Gino Berrio and Joel Robie are coming down to keep Bill and I from looking like total clowns.

Anyone recommend a hotel?

When I looked online, hotels were half price about 20 miles away from the track. I have never been all that impressed with booking through Priceline/Kayak/Travelocity etc. and generally do better by simply showing up unannounced and asking for the best rate. If I plan to arrive late at night, I book the first night online then move to another hotel or negotiate a good rate to stay the rest of the trip.

I'm staying in Lake Mary the first night. It's 40-50 miles from Daytona, but I arrive in Orlando at midnight and don't want to drive too much that late. I'll surely change hotels for the remaining nights of the trip.
