So what do you all think of the new Granite strip on the start finish line on NHMS, my thoughts are it will probably be fine in the dry but it appears to be a polished piece and when it is raining I would suspect it to be a bit slippery. Thoughts ??

The WHAT? I spun the rear over the start/finish in the wet when it was paint. I can't imagine it'd be polished.
Hopefully it's roughed up.

Close your eyes, look deep in your soul, step outside yourself and let your mind go.
I was wondering how it would be at the start, especially in the rain. OR, if you're making a pass on someone.
Looks like they put down more paint too. Probably over the grid markings for bikes.
Suppose they made the pavement around it flat? Or is it kinda flat, like T2?
Not a big deal really - I'm sure we'll adapt, NASCAR pays the bills anyway.
