Mid-pack racing is going to be so bad ass with all these customer bikes. I'm pumped for it. I hope Hayden kills it back on a Honda.

Damn I was hoping Suzuki would pick him and Spies up. Spies is another one that needs to get off the Duc and back onto a factory bike. I think if he's is healthy for the 2014 season (and rides well) Suzuki will pick him up when they return in 2015. Maybe they'll pick Hayden up too?

I like him, but Spies didn't do much with a factory Yamaha....just saying.

Spies was also constantly banged up. I think he's got a lot of potential running for Suzuki, but you're right he didn't make a case for himself on the factory Yamaha. I think he needs one more chance on a factory team, and if that doesn't work he should probably go back to WSBK.

Man oh man I can't wait to see how MotoGp shakes down next year. Rules/bikes/rider changes...Hayden possibly in the top five or six here and there, Crutchlow selling his soul to the devil, Edwards on a better machine (although he wasn't breaking any records when he had a factory ride anyway), CRT's going away, more competitive satellite bikes, poor Spies prob won't be there and that's a crying shame - he never really got a good run at it, Espargaro on a better machine, although honestly with all the higher level equipment available to more teams I don't see how he could possibly finish better than he has this year - he's been amazing...looks like the only thing that wont change is the champion at the end of next season and the Ducs wont win unless Stoner sells his soul too - speaking of Stoner - wish Honda would just offer him 25 billion bucks to replace Pedrosa and go head to head against Marquez - ah to dream...

I did get to witness what was probably Colin Edwards' best ride. Laguna Seca 2005 -- Hayden 1st, Edwards 2nd, Rossi 3rd.

Yep I remember that one clearly too. I just have never thought he was really a contender, and have never been a fan. Prob just because whenever the camera is on him he feels the need to stick out his tongue - every time. LOL
