Not so sure about that.

You can get an ohlins rear shock and some racetech springs used for a lot less than 2K.

I wasn't figuring on the used price. I thought of what new suspension cost. But yeah a freshen up and weight change would be a few hundred.

Just a small Issue Need to adjust the Kickstart spring, I also used the Wrong type of gear oil in a rush, The wrong Oil+The cold= A kickstarter that Does not turn the Motor,

Again a common Problem with lots of Kawi owners on KX forums to Tell me how to fix it.

I Vote 3500 Fair, 3000 Good deal.

In summary NON SVracers +Daviid Say to much money for old bike.

People who race SV's Say its fair but 3000 is better.

I have been racing but only a Motard and don't know dick about an SV. But I think I'll offer him 2500 and settle on 3000 will be good.

I'll be riding the tard and the SV!!! Keep the tard mounted with rains so when they give "you" guy 15 minutes to swap to rains all I have to do is get my rain "bike"!!!

You guys think $3K is a good deal for a 1999 SV 650?? ...whenever you purchase anything you need to look at the "Value" of the product in the price.
No matter what the bike has its still going to be a '99 SV650.

Bottom line though KB is that if your comfortable and happy with getting the bike for $3,000 then buy it. If you want to find a deal then keep shopping.

I got a 2003 Honda 600RR trackbike I'm going to be selling for under $3K....Call me and we'll make a deal
