Another small issue I see is this, if you've got 1 guy that runs at the front all the time in NV all alone with no competition may have difficulty reaching the threshold to AM.
It took me bumping to AM to go faster since the only carrot I had was to try and catch the leader of f40 that started a wave ahead if us.
When I start my KTM in the morning, rules are broken. Its inevitable...

I'd like to recommend that you attend some trackdays then.
The outfit I instruct with, Boston Moto, can help increase your race pace while reducing your lap times and this is all done in a safe, easy going and controlled environment.
PM me for more details.

Something else I like about this new change is it's real easy to see exactly what you need to bump now. When I wanted to bump to AM, it was hard to tell when Don would say yes, and I didn't want to be "that guy" that asks and gets told no. Now anyone with a computer can spend 2-3 minutes and know EXACTLY what times they need to be running under consistently in order to bump.
The only downside I could see would be people riding over their head trying to hit the required time to bump up. I don't think it would be enough of a problem to argue the changes though.
I wasn't saying I was THAT guy.
I was agreeing with Oxx about needing faster riders in front to get faster. Most of the races I did last year, I was at or near the front. (In small fields, but competition makes us try harder.)
My only question is, how do the REALLY fast guys stay out in front?
It's NOT my fault you're not as fast as your bike.

"If" is for philosophy. This is racing.
Now to try to be a little more helpful rather than just being an (honest) dick, why are you fucking up shifts? Fix it. Get instruction if you must. Change gearing. Start a thread outlining your problem and asking for help. I don't know what the fuck you gotta do, but "if" does not drop lap times. Fixing problems does.
