James flew out to Monterrey California today to race with the pro road racing team of roadracingworld.com. Please wish him the best as he will be there on his own, living the dream of budding pro racer. I couldn't be with him this weekend and keep our budget in control, so if any of friends, family and sponsors are out there and can stop by and say hello I'm sure he would appreciate it.

" A true spoiler on all fronts could be stalwart AMA Pro Flat Track crossover James "The Rocket" Rispoli (No. 71 Roadracingworld.com Suzuki GSX-R600) who is making a one-off appearance with the proven Roadracingworld.com team. Riding for another group, Rispoli finished fourth at Road America in his only previous SuperSport start of the year. In addition to being a top AMA Pro Grand National Singles Championship rider, Rispoli also showed his road racing talent in SunTrust Moto-GT competition last year. "
It's all water under the bridge, and we do enter the next round-robin. Am I wrong?

Alex, it's not like anyone here hasn't told you before... but you're a real stand up kind of guy. Impressive.

I saw that kid at the rochester fairgrounds 2 years ago. The kid is stoopid fast. Good to see a local kid makin' it.

James was 10th quickest today in first practice. Not bad bu he's def looking for more tomorrow. He rode the bike as it was setup for Cardenas and it really didn't suit James style. Making host of changes and he's confident he can drop 2 more secs. Really having a ball thou and wants to stay on 2wheels and make a good impression.

Heh guys James' dad here. Can't thank you all enough for your support. Just got off the phone with James, said weather is cloudy and a little cool. He confirmed a bunch of changes to help him get the bike turned mid corner. He remains optimistic. Today is practice, Q and race at the end of the day.
Jaybird...thank you!
Alex, James said you are mad-cool!!!!
Thanks a bunch for keeping and eye on him...

Boston --> San Diego
Just talked with James. Found another second in Q and Q'd 6th overall. Everyone is pleased with his progress. They are still making additional changes for the race. James is Looking for solid safe race. He has top 5 pace for sure....tells me he has another second down deep. With a good start he feels he will be competitive. Not being there is killing me...probally good for him to keep focused though. Go luck kid~~~

+1
We just watched the MotoGP Q session at the National Guard Jordan Suzuki rig on the TV. Lot of the GP guys were stacking it bigtime. Told him in the race he'll be right there with the 3-5 pack no problem but to run a smart race and bring it home.
Race is in 1.5 hours. If you want live updates I'll keep my twitter feed going during it with the status. www.twitter.com/alex434 same as I do with www.twitter.com/23race
