June 11th race weekend, Heath??

Yeah, it is $50 for the GT races, they said it at the last riders meeting as well.

They'll get the money from you one way or another though, i heard the weekend track entry was either $50 or $90 per person???

How did the GT and 125gp schedule work out? Anybody besides Mark do it?

Here's my account of the race...

Race time saw the temps over 90 in the shade of the garages. Track temp 136F. I was nearly using the leanest jet in my kit and I would have gone leaner if the bike’s cooling system could have handled it.

I got my usual mediocre launch and slotted into 4th in T1. The big surprise was that Tyler Henshaw grabbed the holeshot and headed the race for a lap! I squeezed past Eric Yoo into T12 and Zack had moved into 2nd. Into T3 chute on lap 2 Zack moved past Tyler, and I rocketed up the INSIDE past both of them into T3. I couldn’t hold the line and Zack re-passed underneath me.

I got a good drive up the hill and dove for the inside of T6. A perfect block pass as Zack had to seriously check up as he tried to tip it in. I only led for a little bit as I missed a shift in T12 and Zack BLASTED past me onto the straight. He pulled a few seconds on me right there, and I never recovered. I rode hard and worked traffic pretty well to hold onto second despite Eric’s late race charge.

I finished 3.9 seconds back, but 3 of those were lost in that one mistake… This coming Friday is worth DOUBLE POINTS, so it will be another corker.

The bikes were so anemic that Eric said he couldn’t pull sixth gear! So the times (low 18s) were probably quite good for the conditions

It wasn't all that bad but they did cut the race down to 20 minutes. I'll be doing it again next race weekend in July
