I am the creator of, initiator of, and organizer of the “Larry Lap”. I have neigher relegated nor designated these roles to anyone. If the “Larry Lap” takes place this year, it will be under my direction, as it has been for the last 8 years. The vendors for the “Larry Lap” will be businesses located in New Hampshire, those who employ New Hampshire residents and support the economy of New Hampshire every day.

Let me see if I can explain this to you. First of all: A charity event that benefits an organization that is based in New Hampshire, when the major participants of the event Live in New Hampshire, Work in New Hampshire, loyalty is to the State of New Hampshire and the Small Businesses that operate in the State. Therefor you patronize those Small Businesses. Many of the LRRS racers own Small Businesses or represent them. You own a small business. How would you feel having someone disrespect you?, taking money out of your pocket?, causing you to lay off New Hampshire resident employees?, and the addendum to that is no matter what state an injured racer is from, if that injury occurs within our sphere of influence, they have access to the resources of New Hampshire.
Second: The premise that was presented, that the shirts were less expensive is a fallacy. A thin white T-Shirt for $4:00 doesn’t even come near the quality our vendor supplies. And it has already been stated that the price goes up if the T-Shirt is a color. Our vendor not only does much better, but his prices are severely marked down as his donation.
Third: Let’s take a look at design. Bob created the first design in 2007 and also gave it away in 2007. Therefore, he retains no rights to it. For him to give Blanchette the same design is an infringement, nor is the zip file an indication of the official Larry Lap Logo. (This is not to say that Bob’s heart and motivation was not positively directed). But have you taken a look at the design for the back of the shirt? The NHMS banner goes across the shoulders of the T-Shirt and there is no room for the sponsors recognition. Not that there was a request for a list of the sponsors names, numbers, Business Names, Franchise Names, Logos. Or the size font that they were to be printed in and their place on the shirt.
And if that is not enough, I will reiterate that I am the creator of the “Larry Lap”, the initiator of the “Larry Lap” and the organizer of the “Larry Lap”, therefore, it stands to reason that I should be consulted first.
