knitting, bridge, both good suggestions. I don't need to be passed and made look foolish by a Hawk at a trackday again.

    Re: Lever guards

I have the Woodcraft lever guards on my bike. They were easy to install, and Eric helped me with some questions at the track. In addition to providing lever and hand protection, the guards enhance crash protection for my softer bike parts. I was able to buy some replacement parts for small money to renew the guards twice. I've had a few close calls in traffic (expecting even more) and I would like to keep all 10 fingers as well as avoid being thrown over the bars or worse from front lever contact.

I'd like to see you try

but you shoulda been there at the track day I'm referring to. Bill passed me into T3. I followed him up the hill and down. then he proceeded to take like 5 or 6 other people on the inside and outside in turns 6-9. I didn't see him after that cause I was just amazed at how easily he sliced through traffic. it was like they weren't even there.
