he is OK. Got passed on the inside(way too close) in the bowl by an expert. stood it up to give him some room and lost the front when he tipped it back in..

Hypermotard = crapola on the race track from what Zack and Peter were saying. I guess they're going to be overhauling it a LOT. Owen's will probably have some pictures.

Bone-stock streetbike not built for racing pulls a 19.8 the first time Zach rides it? Dunno if that qualifies as crap from the seat I'm sitting in.... Bike has 80HP at the rear wheel stock (86 with full system) and the the low foot controls really limit lean angle in stock configuration. Not talking about a repli-racer GSXR1098NINJA here.

Can't wait to see it's progress once Jeff Wood gets his and Peter can dial the suspension in.

Just relaying what was told to me. Peter did all he could for it at our trackdays and saidsomething along the lines of is caca, shouldn't be on the track. Zack said it rides the same. Headshake down the front straight looked like high speed ski slalom. The bike performing like crap isn't a personal insult you know, it's just a bike that rides like crap.

Nah I didn't take it as one. Appreciate the feedback for sure. Just letting you know what my/our expectation are and thoughts are on it's performance.

I did just spend all day Friday at PIR flogging the living hell out of a pair of Hypermotard with Doug Polen and Michael Csysz (of Motocsysz). You couldn't peel Michael off the bike with a crowbar, even thou he had his Supermono (omg..) to ride. Polen and I had a mini-race during one section that had people actually come out to watch! Peg-draggin, rear end sliding, wheeling fun booya.

    Again, great photos Tim.

    Alex,
So I have this mental image in my head correct....

Polen was peg draggin and rear end sliding while riding and you were peg dragging / rear end sliding while sliding on your back next to it ??

    Basically

He'd wait up on the straights a little bit. That is when he wasn't hitting my killswitch at 130mph. Equal bikes with limited ground clearance kept it closer than say.. when I was on a 1098S and he was on a 1098 Racebike. Eye-opening fast that crazy old cotter is.

How are you Mr. G!? Looks like you had some fun this weekend!

I rode it on the track and thought it handled great for a streetbike with those design limitations. The only limit for me was ground clearance. Peter and Zack may well be comparing it to something it's not...

Can you bitch-slap him for his horrible re-design of the supersport? It'd be doing me a big favor.
