BSB is known as a stepping stone to WSBK so?
Is she really that talented or is she just easy on the eyes and running in the right circles? (I genuinely don't know the answer to that).
Either way, I hope she puts on a good show.

Former USGPRU 250 champ. Seems to place around 15-20th in the AMA on her 600. A very nice person.
she's usually top 20 and she's had a lot of pretty significant injuries she's had to bounce back from. i'm completely biased but i heart her and love to see her advance

I think that women in road racing is an important part of the future of the sport in the US. I'm watching things like the new Texas track and thinking "hmmmm, 3 WSBK and MOTOGP rounds in the US by 2015?". That would mean almost one third of each series is on US soil, where American riders do very well usually. Only in the UK and US and maybe Australia do wild card riders do so well in world level races when they come to town. The UK tracks are hard to learn so she is going to have to do her homework and get in on a few trackdays at Donington and brands as well as the dreaded cadwell in order to stay in the pack. The level of racers is very high compared to what qualifies you for an AMA ride so she is going to be pushed but the only way to get faster is to ride with the fastest.
If she can hang in this years test races and stay fit for all of next year with top 10 finishes, I think the door is wide open for a world superbike ride in 2013. I wonder if she will wild card for Donington and Brands WSBK rounds in 2012? WSBK and motogp are ripe for a female racer.
A lot will depend on how good the bike is also. The top BSB riders are almost all on works level machinery.
Not that I dont agree with Degs, but she's top 20 AMA, its a little forward to start talking WSBK let alone MotoGP I think. I see this as a Danica Patrick sort of thing, 50% ability, 50% marketing. Sure shes fast, but she's also pretty. Does that open doors for her that people who might be faster will never get? Of course. Is this one of them? Who knows. Is it far? Debatable. Either way, hope she does well. Nice to see some American woman get the world stage, and then throw in Elena Myers getting to ride the MotoGP bike, should be some interesting times coming up.
When I start my KTM in the morning, rules are broken. Its inevitable...

Just checked and it is supersport. First report i read was BSB but it wasnt an official channel. I think that's a good start, but I'd still love to see her in a BSB race or two just to see how she could do on a really competitive machine.
