Oxx I think they did it for the Legends Cars and they probably wanted in T1A because they only get people in one set of bleachers or something so they wanted the 100 people that attend to be able to see some exciting racing.
I wasnt there to see it but heard it was regular paint, which is really where the problem lies... if they had used grip paint then there is no problem. (unless they did use grip paint and all the problems are just in y'alls heads. :p

I didn't have a problem with it on Friday FWIW. Maybe I wasn't going fast enough to have a problem?

The white stripe took me down in Saturday practice, also two other guys in my garage. I think the problem lies if you get off line, which I was off line when I crashed, because I had no problems at race pace when I stayed on the race line...
What negative post was this guy talking about? I'm on the NEAR list and I didn't see anything. Was it on here somewhere?

I really felt bad when he let us know he spent almost a half a
day dealing with the problem.
then he said he would rather people call his cell phone than post negative things on chatrooms, like everyone that post negative things online would be way to scared to say it to someones face.
oh yea, he praises nh talking about the banquet, saying we should give back to nh(which I agree) but then stands on live free or die soil and tells us how to think and act.
he must love NASCAR.

I think that telling us to go to the source if we have a problem/complaint, rather than bitching about it on a message board, is sort of reasonable?

Lol. Yeah, cos after 10 or 12 years the problem will be fixed.Originally Posted by Mr. Kurtz

I second that! It got me at the end of practice on Sunday. I was pushing my braking into 1 which ran me a little wide and caused my turn -in point to be a little late into 1a putting me on "the line" and immediately on the ground. So basically, like Eric said...." Get your input done before the line and you shouldn't have a problem." Hopefully they will find a better location for it...
I have no idea why the thread title reminded me of this song...

Thats what I took away from it. In fact Tom actually said something a little more along those lines about something else in the last meeting. He could have come across a little friendlier about it, but im guessing he would like to have a chance to resolve the issue first hand rather than find out people have issues through the grapevine.
Ive had a problem or question, nothing major, but whenever ive called wanda or the front someone has handled it. Thats why I never had any issues with them wanting us to deal directly. Worked for me.
Call Wanda and offer your opinions on fees, required purchases, life at the track etc etc. See how much gets changed. I think its more effective if 100 people chime in on a thread, and either the LRRS honchos, or the rider reps read it and take it under consideration.
Or we could all pick a day and everyone that has an issue with something at the track calls whoevers in charge and we'll see what changes are implemented.
basically I was knocking him on the " call me instead" after complaining he spent a half days work dealing with the problem. if you wanna give every racer your cell and we can kindly call you when we have a issue, how much time is that gonna take out of the work day. a lot more than a half a day.
basically that guy has rubbed me the wrong way eversince I got a concussion in mwgp, went to the med center right after the race and the place was locked up. took this guy 20 min to get there and unlock it.
