Biggs, Is this all clear? i'm going to call in my pre-reg for the AM prod twins race, but I want to be sure everything is set before I put down the chedder. Also need to know what year the bike is.

yes, it's all set. new rear brake line is on it's way.
it's a frankenbike different year motor than frame, but I always write 1994 on my entry forms.

not a whole lot. Once i scrounge up the parts from various locations it should be an afternoon/evening job. I'll bring it up to the track next weekend & it should be ready for ya on Sunday.

Just get what you need for number plates. The upper fairing will be off (needs minor fiberglass repair, i'll do that later) so you can zip tie a plate to the fairing stay like Clayton's bike.

I did a couple laps of practice and didn't know what the hell was going on with the bike. Had to talk to some of the other guys to find out it's supposed to ride like that! The race was a blast, a couple more times on one of those and I think I could dice it up with Clayton and Pete. It was kind of like running my 600, well...if we took away 3 cyclinders and took out all of the wheel spacers and all but one caliper piston.

Give me another race or two and I'll be right with you guys. I have only ridden one race bike on the track for one pratice. The rest has all been on my tard. But goddamned you guys on those ex's I bet would pull some pretty quick lap times if you were on real race bikes.

I rode it in practice and feared for my life. They took Biggitys up in the back lots and liked it WAY better and ran that in the race.

You need to get that rear end fixed/tightend up, maybe new tire????

I think it was your rear end that needed tightening, not Oreo's bike.

I follow it regularly, it does just fine.

KB, when are you going up to the Classic weekend? Clayton, could you take it out for a session & see how it compares? I probably won't be up at the track until Saturday morning as usual.

Even though it's good for at least 24's w/ me on it, less w/ a better rider, I don't doubt it needs some refinement. First, I know for certain that rear shock & linkage is far from ideal & secondly, I also need to change the gearing. Gotta find a stock 16 tooth front sprocket.

but still, I'm surprised it was that bad w/ you on it... musta been the huge weight difference. Did Gerard ride it?

I will be up there on Tuesday. Tom Joyce took your bike in his trailer. He had a spare spot and I would have had to stuff the pit bike in the RV some how, so it went with him. I am not sure when he will be up with it but if you need it he said it's only 10 miles from the track and if we need it we could get it.
