Anyone know offhand, what did you pay for VP 5 gallons at track for 1st weekend?
In 09 they were 50 bucks which was cheaper than any mx race I went to. Thank ya

On a similar vein, what do you all do with your empty C12 cans? I just started running it this year and I can already see them piling up.

Not sure if the "VP Guy" is coming back to the track. Nate from NHMS was selling cans of VP Race Fuel out of the back of a pickup truck this past weekend for $60. Looking at the CCS Contingency requirements, I see that VP is paying $25 (cash) contingency for 1st, 5th or 10th place finishes in All LRRS Classes. Requirement is minimum of 5 gallons purchased for weekend with proof of purchase submitted to VP San Antonio within 30 days of event. 1 payout per weekend, Min. field 8.
Here is the latest version, dated 3/27/2011:

Wonder if I can still get a receipt to submit for $25 contingency claim. That was decent when we paid $50/can of C12, but I guess that was short-lived and a few years ago now. I guess $60/pail ($12.00/gallon) still isn't too bad, when there are other places getting $65 or more for a can of VP.
Sunoco CAM2 110 Octane Race Fuel can still be had for just under $10.00/gallon, but you need to run a 2-stroke to be exempt from the Spec Fuel Requirement for LRRS.
