Very cool, good luck! My friend raced there two years ago. Here is an article he wrote: My First Race on the Isle of Man Course - The Manx Grand | RideApart
I have read this article. Props to your friend. He did very well.
And thank you for the kind words

Dude the guy who put the calipers on those forks was a fucking idiot. We have been fighting to take one caliper off for two hours now

He put 08 calipers on 05 forks. And because they didn't fit her put 4 spacers on each bolt, lock tite and fucking tight them with over 200lbs lol. We still can't get one bolt out. Forks and motor going in today hopefully.
Also custom ram air may happen today.
Tip: when you are working with fiberglass don't leave your phone around... Don't ask
Bust out the torch and heat those bitches up that should take care of the loc tite
Or a good big watt soldering iron.
Heat gun over flame on a brake caliper but hay whatever works for ya
Well bolt is out and in trash
Motor and front end in. Everything is running perfect. Still need steering damper and brake master and will be good to go.
Going back to Scott Mullin and Souhegan Valley Motorsports on Tuesday and then to Peter Kates to set up geometry and check the forks and we are ready for paint!!!
newest patch is shipping this week! feel free to order your shirt to support. thank you to all who have ordered already! per several requests I will bring some shirts with me at LRRS Round 4 (not the classic) but remember shipping is already included. Also seems like we wont find out today again about the official entry, they are now saying they need another 24 hours to let us know.

beyond emotional I am in the fortunate position to announce that I am officially accepted in the 2016 Manx Grand Prix!
As crazy as it may sound to actually say/type this words, this August and September I will be RACING at the ISLE OF MAN
It is an insane feeling that this dream that started so long ago is now becoming a reality.
I have 24 hours to get my bikes ready for shipment and to New York City in order to guarantee they will be at the isle in time.
No big deal, just put tons of thousands of dollars, endless sleepless nights with frustration and satisfaction, blood and sweat, pretty much all my hopes and dreams into a container that will be over the ocean for 8 weeks... no i am not stressed about that at all... #sarcasm...
IT HAS GOTTEN REAL!
Fuck! In! A!
Yesssssssssssssssssssssssssssss!!!! Rock on Sav, and congrats!

After the longest day and night of wrenching at 4:00am this morning the bikes were ready to go.
With no sleep for two days now I took a short drive to Boston and then to New York.
Hit traffic every single second I was on the road with road work in MA, CT and NY.
Finally the bikes arrived in time, shipping company was extremely helpful and worked with me.
Both bikes are currently in the container that is living tomorrow morning for the Isle of Man.
Now it's time to go back to the gym and watching endless amount of on board and maybe work a bit more :/
It had been exhausting couple weeks and I can't believe how I am still standing or my eyes are open to type this.
But I am calling it a night and getting some very very very much needed rest!
I read this post last night before I went to sleep and dreamed I was prepping for a race in NY. Waited until the last minute to pack my gear, then drove to Maine first for some reason and forgot my boots at home, had to pick them up on the way.
That's the whole story.
I didn't say it was a good one.
if someone from New England wants to come over to this year's Manx Grand Prix tickets just had a significant drop that will most likely not last.
