I run slicks because I accidently ordered a season worth of them last year. I may or may not run them this year when i run out of what I have. They seem to last longer, but the grip is pretty comprable. the profiles are the same so geometries don't change for me.

It's all water under the bridge, and we do enter the next round-robin. Am I wrong?

i did it to another bike, but the other bike already had the kickstand disconnected when i got the wiring harness off ebay. never checked if it was just jumped or if it had a resistor. i could try it when i go home i was just wondering if anyone knew off the top of their head.

Gotcha. No, you don't need or want to put a resistor in there, it's just a simple switch. Any conductive metal will do, many use a paperclip. Just make sure that it makes a good connection, as if it fails your bike will suddenly shut off on you (ask me how I know). The best way to be sure is to cut the connector and solder/splice the wires together.

I am in the same boat, However they sent me the right Ones and Let me keep the slicks for about $60.00 Per tire So the way my racing schedule is DOT on Saturday, Slicks on sunday. If that does not work I will sell off the slicks and buy more D.O.T.

i cut the kickstand switch off and used one of those twisty cap things for wires and POOF! it worked. im thinking about slicks too. i have an old set of Dunnies that im gonna have the tire guys look at to see if they are still good. if so them ill run them at a TTD to see if i like them.

OMG. i havent even SEEN my bike since November let alone work on it. i need a rattlecan of flat yellow.......
