Anyone you trust/like racing with more than the rest?
For me believe it or not its pre-teen, we both crash lots but i never feel like we put each other in risky situations. Probably the only person i am truly comfortable racing as close with as we do. I couldn't tell you why, maybe just because we always find ourselves battling, maybe it that i have logged more laps directly in front of or behind him than any other racer. Dunno... but its nice to have faith that the dude in next to you isn't gona surprise you in any way.
So for you guys who have been racing forever. Do you start to get multiple racers who you trust and are comfortable at high speeds in close proximity to, or is it just a few people who you really enjoy battling with?
Joel Allen, Ron Poulin, Scotty James, etc.... like you said its 10x as fun to jam with guys you trust won't make a boneheaded move even if you're battling hard. Nothin like goin around T9 side by side with your elbow laying on someone else's fairings and not worrying about them getting spooked.
I'll let ya know after the next round. So far, the best battles I've had have been with Chauncey. I'm expecting to do deeds with a few other cats in July.

I miss all of my LRRS racer folks.

I used to share a garage at the track with a guy named Kitt. He was pretty cool but he doesn't race any more.

I'd have to agree. SG and Scott James are my favorites. For opposite reasons though. SG will zip by without me knowing and wave, as if he upset my pace. And Scott James has tapped me on the shoulder a few times on his way by! I'm not sure he would now though, as I'm approaching his pace. There aren't many people in my classes who spook me at all.

Oh, and this ^ prepubescent asshole, oddly enough.
To the topic,
Preteen (csmutty)
Josh (Kurlon)
Don Smith (don't think he's on here)
and, soon to be from the up and comer ranks: Coleman (Gunner)
I'm sure there have been others, but these are the guys I've spent memorable time battling and felt perfectly comfortable next to (even including contact with Kurlon)
Racing with KB is always fun, even though he will not hesitate to push you into the grass going over the hill.
Anyone I can beat. Unfortunately, that list is getting shorter and shorter.
Seriously though:
KB
Keith Draghi (catahoulabuldog), but he hates when I stuff him in T3
Bill Morey (Yknot)
Bill Coolahan (Mustang) who's dropped a whole 5 seconds off his PB last round
Mike Kurtz
Dave Pang
Chipper (when we used to dice it out last season)
Jake Vader (damn that kid is fast on his 125!)
But like the track he seems full of talk and excuses in the garage as well... .
Went to start a fight with and threatened pre teen again, got suspended indefinitely i belive.
He has always been a dick as far as i have seen. Last year he said he was gona "pop" someone (either me or christian) when christian passed him in 9. I almost took his head off but luckily i have more sense that he does.
I remember that race. That was an awesome one. Are you coming back racing this year? did you bump to AM yet?[/QUOTE]
Yup, bumped up this year. I was there for the loudon classic. Trying not to be last but I guess I will have to do the time and bring up the rear for a lil bit...
