Nice weekend

Wow, this weekends weather was a gift after the past few years first race weekends weather
No racing to report for me this weekend but a good time sure was had

I got there about 5 or so Friday afternoon and set up camp for the weekend.
Ahhhh, just like my room at home



Bryan, Bob and myself corner worked morning practices both days, which was pretty cool. I was flagging in turn 1 both days. Things started off a little rough Saturday with 6 red flags in practice and a few yellows... Sunday was much more betterer with only 1 red and 1 yellow.

We also did some dirt riding in the afternoon, Bryan had to spend some time on his new toy. Pretty damned good for your first time on a dirtbike Bryan... I didn't laugh nearly as much as I expected to Poor guy was stuck on a root though in this one trail and I think he thought I was coming to help him out.... but I took the camera out instead



He made it out on his own though


And I had to take a picture if the hottest bike at the track this weekend

There were quite a few of those yams out there in race trim. Oddly, mostly in the hands of newbies. Nice looking kit though.

Yeah, the camera doesn't do it justice... there has to be a 2' change in elevation and the root was at least 2" around

Well it was his first dirt ride so we can cut him a bit of slack.
That didn't prove to be the hardest thing about that dirtbike for the weekend though Hope your foot is getting better.

Get a quad for the ice, I had a killer time on mine the one time I rode it on the ice

Did I mention in the AM/EX second yellow practice on Saturday there were 91 riders out on the track? Pretty impressive to see the line still coming out as the first riders out were already heading into turn 1

For the very few times we actually ride on the ice this should do just fine.
Besides its primary function is going to be to go get the mail seeing as my mail box is just over 1/2 mile down a dirt road, and it isn't on the end of the road that we come home from work on.

Might make for good pit transportation too.

I got a pretty good deal on it, its a 2000 and I paid just over trade value for it.
