Sepang: Not really a spoiler but be warned...

So I've never been a fan of Lorenzo at all, in fact always thought he was a bit of a pompous ass. But the end of the Sepang race really sealed my utter dislike of him.

Anyone else see after the finish when he stopped on track, marshalls come out to congratulate him etc and Spies(his teammate next season) pulls up beside him, puts his hand out to offer his congrats and Lorenzo just completely snubs him? Even after the marshalls point out that Spies is there trying to shake his hand, he still ignores Ben, who rides off slowly shaking his head. Very poor form, especially towards your future teammate.

I did see that, had the same feelings you did. There was a whole line of other riders behind ben that he did the same to.

I caught the last 6 laps or so and I thought it was a great race. Definitely one to watch if you haven't already.

At first I was thinking well he could just be caught up in the excitement of it all but when Ben put his hand right in front of Lorenzo to shake, the marshall looks Lorenzo right in the face, points to Spies and Lorenzo still snubs him that just did it for me. He may have the championship for 2010 but there is a reason Rossi will always be the true modern MotoGP champ. It's not just about winning races, it's the overall attitude. Can't wait to see 46 on the Ducati next season.

Yup... saw that... Not sure if it was intentional or not, though. It looked like he shook everyone elses hands, including Rossi's.

The pre-race shit where they were talking about the racing from last weekend was what got me... He didn't answer the question at all, he just sat there nodding. Lorenzo is about as marketable as Alex Rodriguez.

I don't like Lorenzo but I do think having watched the race, he was probably overcome at that point before composing himself when the other riders arrived.
I was surprised with the Rossi gesture, very proffesional, if it was the other way round, I doubt Lorenzo would have done the same!
Rossi is still the man, but without Pedrosa who was going really fast it is difficult to say if he is back to 100%.
I like the look of Spies for next year as a top 3 finisher, he is the one Lorenzo should be worried about!!

I'm also not a Lorenzo fan and was annoyed by that but I found him pulling into P1 in park firme more annoying - he def had plenty of time to figure that one out.

I've been saying it for months, ever since before he started winning (and his attitude really came out)...he's a douche. I've tried to like him but when I found myself cheering for Pedrosa I knew what was up. Screw Lorenzo. Rossi is going to hand him his ass next year on the Duc and Spies is going to take the spotlight away from him on the Fiat Yamaha team.

Never ever have I hoped to see someone crash out of a race, especially a motorcycle race, but yesterday all I wanted to see was him tuck the front end and watch his bike flip through the sand traps so he would be out of the race and not seal his championship.

Oh well, next season will be awesome and I'm still looking forward to watching the race next weekend, LOVE Phillip Island.

ya He has been annoying all season, when he wins instead of looking just happy he looks like he is drunk with power haaha. Rossi was the man at Sepang, can't wait til next year and hopefully Rossi/Spies stay healthy all year and throw down the hammer.

Ya I saw that and I am a big (was) fan of Jorge but its too bad they have to be like that..gonna give him the benefit of doubt though and say congrats.
Rossi sure has fun out there no matter what the situation is so maybe Lorentho should take a hint!!!

Lorenzo is a good rider. However, as hard as he might try he is never going to be as good of a showman as Rossi.

Really, he does try pretty hard with his little victory celebrations but they just do not seem to be genuine. "If you can't follow me on the track follow me on Twitter". Yeah...right!?

You all missed the BBC broadcast - 1.5 hour with far superior coverage. Lorenzo cruises off with the Spanish flag over his shoulder and in a matter of seconds it was wrapped around his sprocket. CWs had to lift the rear and work at it to get it free, he almost had to get a ride to the box minus his bike! and I agree a royal BS move pulling into the #1 spot, it was no accident. He is going to be as hated as Pedrosa in no time, 2 winey little bitches

If Rossi can come from 11th spot in 1st lap and close a gap that large in a matter of laps, on the same bike as Hor-Hay I can't wait for next year. Rossi's been battling shoulder and leg problems and looks all better now, Lorenzo isnt going to run away with anything in 2011
