Open track Thursdays!? where have they gone?

I read that link when it was posted and also gave it another glance but i think the question is about Thursday practice..
Are they changing it..?
Penguin if i am not wrong is only talking about Friday's and there schedule + rookie race...
So if anyone has any info about thursday being changed post some info please. I am trying to give work my summer schedule and it includes thurs - sun time off...

I hope Thursday is not changed , I will be super pissed off if they dont give us Thursday 's . Atleast half the day like it was the year before..

If I had to guess (and I have no clue about or direct knowledge) is thursdays are gone because they turned them into rental days to organizations. They were so lightly attended that they probably offered up the days to be more profitable.

Friday Schedule &Rookie Race changed because there is Legends car racing starting Mid Day on Saturdays now...so LRRS ends early and there was no time for a Rookie Race on Saturdays.

I was up there from Wed night-Sun every weekend last year, and that facility was a ghost town on Thursdays. I thought it was odd that the track was reserving the day for, seriously, 5-10 riders most days.

Ah ... who am i kidding . I was looking forward to this year I bumped to AM and now it's gonna suck.. OH ! and i forgot i picked up a new bike for nothing.. going back to doing track days i guess.

Thursday practices were the best deal for track time last year. We were usually split in 2 groups so we got 20 minutes on and 20 minutes off, so roughly 10 sessions for $150. Too bad they are cutting some of those days, but I can't blame the track for getting rid of unprofitable days.

Wonder when they'll let us in now. Hopefully Thurs, I dont want to leave at 5 am on Fri mornings.
Also curious as to how they'll organize the sessions on Fridays. Nv, Am/Ex or Nv,Am,Ex. Never was a fan of Am practicing with Ex. Always feel like Experts dont need me out there holding them up.

I'm on the slowest bike on track, and had that same thought until some fast guys straightened me out. We're basically a cone to those guys, they shoot by us like we're parked. The less we care, the more we stay predictable and easy to safely pass. Besides, by the time you realize they're next to you they're already gone in front of you. All that's really left to do is say "Hi (insert fast guy name here)", bye (same name here) and keep riding your own race... they've long since forgotten about passing you anyway. IF they even noticed...

I'll take AM/EX small bike practice (as an AM) over NV all sized bikes anyday! You wanna talk scary, get into that session on a small bike...

Just got an email from Wanda about when we can get in this yr. She said Thurs at 6pm except for the Classic weekend which will be Wed. Just in case people are trying to plan their days off. etc.
