yeah. figured, was just amused that Doc thanked you for it

yup it would kill the hawk... well. no it wouldn't. I honestly believe a superbike hawk (like mine, mstone's, gino's) is good into the 15s so it wouldn't do _that_ badly with a very experienced expert on it. I'd never trophy in a million years, but it's a 20+ year old bike. if we want bigger grids we have to make changes, no?
...at some point you have relegate them to vintage or just to mid-pack. it's not popular among those that still ride them (me included), but if we're all in it for the FUN of racing at the club-expert level then the hawk accomplishes that exceptionally well.
btw, I've been thinking that for years, said it a few times and got yelled at by other hawk racers for saying it... every time

they'd slaughter hawks just as badly as the fastest sv's out there... isn't a 125 faster than a supersport sv?

So then what doc, make the turds race the sv's in lw? We're talking about (mostly) 450cc machines here.

Yes Gino, I'd like to see more something's in ulsb too.

Hawks, FZR's, GS500's, Duc 800's, Duc 796's... The SV's do well in the classes they have (LWSB in particular) what class do these other old bike have? Vintage?

No they can run Motard, Supersingles, GTL, and LWSM, why do the need ULSB too?

Why can't they? A hawk can be faster than a motard and has turned a faster lap.

Just saying 4 classes isn't enough?. What classes do the ULSB's have that they are competative in?

If they can turn faster lap times why not allow them? And motards are "super light" and they are "super bikes". Kinda makes sense.

I do, but I am not fast on it and don't race it.

Just trying to defend what little time the Hawk has left. where else can the Hawk be competative in ULSB trim? Certainly not Supersingles or Motard or LWSM... Even Duc 800's...

Lwss, gtl, ummm I'm trying to remember what else I would've run the Buell in...

I'm not sure I'm understanding you. Are you saying turds are faster than hawks, and where does the 800ss fit in here?

Not legal for LWSS and not competative in GTL (SV fest)... In expert.

All I am saying is that Tards have a number of options, that other bikes don't.

The 800ss IS ULSB legal and is a good match for the Hawk.

Granted taking the tards out of ULSB might be the death of ULSB so then why not delete the Motard race or disallow them from Super Singles.

Dube will have to take the win in June. I'll be there to keep Doc out of the top 5 and Jerry Clark should be racing too.
Weekend 1 was way to F'n cold for me, weekend 2 weather discouraged me from spending $ too.
Not that I'm dicing with you for the lead, but I'd be something other than a motard on the grid.
Andy Hull was supposed to contend with his new Monster, but he went down the 1st weekend. I heard he may have screwed up his leg / shoulder.

I'll be happy if I can dice with you Joel... Something tells me I am going to be off pace and won't be able to keep up.

I honestly don't care, ima run 3 races/weekend if I can. Whatever you wanna call em is fine by me.
But given all the talk about the big picture lately, I don't think banning motards from classes they've been running is going to make too many people happy. But I'm just a sassy and green am, so I'd like to hear some other seasoned vets weigh in before I give doc any more flak.

Why don't the Hawk guys just upgrade to a competitive platform instead of trying to keep all of the other competitive platforms out of any classes that the Hawk runs in? If the motard guys or the SV guys want to run in 4 classes... so be it. It's good for the bottom line.
