Fwiw acoustic tuning isn't always done for sound. It can theoretically be used to alter air speed flow and turbulence.

Question time....

So I am getting this weird sort of high pitched whine/tinny sound at 6800-7000 rpm, up and down, regardless of gear. Sounds like it is coming from under the triple tree somewhere or the front of the engine.

It's not the bees in a can sound (CCT) as I replaced that last year and am familiar with what that sounds like. I don't want to totally rule out it has something to do with the CCT but I replaced it with an oem part and it doesn't sound anything like the normal bees in a can sound.

I always usually wear ear plugs when riding and didn't hear it but rode yesterday without them and noticed the sound. It's not super loud but concerning. I rode without earplugs probably about a month ago and didn't hear this.

I don't feel any vibration or anything like that either.

Thoughts?

I know I know "Ride more worry less".....

still though, I plan on keeping this bike a long time so I wanna keep up with any issues, even if minor.
