    Oops, I did it again.

Apologies for the Brittany Spears reference, it kinda just happened.

So while innocently driving Dan K to get his new cb 550 I accidentally bought a 67 (i think) cb 160. These things tend to happen to me it really pisses off my wife but fuck it the price was right and I had no choice, I wanted it.

It is in better than average condition but gets no spark from what I have been told. I have never seen one of these before and am going to start on it tonight. Does any one know where I can get a manual for this deal. Or even better want to look at it with me I can travel and have beer but will not drop it at a shop and leave it because I have a great shop that I already use.
Just want to learn some more about it.

I am not good with ignition/electrical issues so any input would be great.

    Thanks

I should be surprised. We went to get a bike for me, and what was a damn good deal for me on the bike at that. 6, who already has a plethora of bikes, not only managed to buy another bike, he managed to buy a bike that was not for sale, and get an even cooler deal than I did. Furthermore, he managed to get a bike that has the one issue he does not know how to fix. Damnit!!! My only compensation is that the 1960's 160cc probably wouldn't handle the NH mountains well with me and a passenger. If you're six and this is only one of the bikes, that's not much of an issue. Yeah... I'm still trying to make myself feel better, so what?

So with that couple extra horse, you'll have all of what, 12? Assuming you ever get that thing to run, that is. You'd better get some more track time in, and hope I get a flat.

On a side note, anyone want to buy a 550?

The pictures are definitely showing a good condition bike. Good luck with the issues.

Shit... I should have gone for a Duc. Or at least one of those 30 stands in the corner, assuming any of them were adjustable width pad stands.

    Hey I know that bike....

If I stumble upon some more parts in my basement that didn't make it up to Hobbs' place when I brought it up there I'll let you know. I do miss that little thing.

Thumbs up Re: Oops, I did it again.

That is the perfect bike for the MotoGiro USA (http://www.motogiro-usa.com/). There is one in the Spring and one in the Fall. That is pretty much the same bike I ride in it as well. Any other questions, just let me know. Great find!

Its an awesome bike, just go it to get spark last night, since you mention it it is missing the timing cover and front axle spacers. Any chance you have those? How long did you have the bike? Will it go 65mph with a dude on it?

That looks like fun, I will absolutely try to make it out there. What tires do you run on yours? I'm having trouble finding out what to put on it. I was going to as the guys at vicious because they race these but since you mentioned it....

Huh, maybe I should grow a set and learn to ride stationary wheelies on it like a real man.
