Update..i used the RTv stuff and so far so good.. I waited only an hour after I put it on and went for a short ride. I went riding today and its still holding up No leaks in the exhaust.. The stuff did a good job.. Oreo knows, he was an eyewitness..
Its alive....ItS AlIVe ..ahhahhhahh
glad it worked out for ya, now hopfully it holds up for a while.
BTW: just to clarify for everyone, he had a leak right where the headers meet the up-pipe to the muffler. The flange from the Micron slip-on didn't fit down over the stock headers enough & there 5 or 6 small openings about 1/8" x 1/8" between the stock midpipe & the micron up-pipe that was causing the leak. he threw some of that RTV in there & slid the clamp back to cover the holes.
(what can i say? i'm bored & felt like explaining somethinghope i did a good job of it)

Just out of curiosity, how long does the ultra copper need to set up before riding the bike?
