Well after missing rounds 4-6 due to a TD incident that left me with a shiny trophy in my Shoulder (partial replacement). I was able to get back out to the track to watch some racing.
I've tried getting there a couple times prior, but the ride would have been a bit to painful for me to bear. Even with my PEZ Dispenser of happy pills I take.
Erik was cool enough to pick me up so I did not have to drive, and we got on the road at 3am. Once there he set up in the garage and we waited for practice to begin.
Everyone was looking really good since my last time up. Lots of ya definitely found some FAST out there too, all I thought about was how much better I would have been by now. Guys I was chasing down in the 23-24's were now in the low 20's and some in the teens!!!! Woot. Damned you guys got fast! ;-)
I was rocking my kids little yellow 4-wheeler for the day (Thanks little buddy) and it was great watching some of the races. Walking would have been a bear without that yellow machine...Got to watch 3 or 4 races before we packed up for the day. :-/
I definitely wasn't expecting to leave so early or I'd have taken my own vehicle, but I still a great time out there just the same. Thanks for all the hospitality from my buds that I was hanging with throughout the day. Was cool watching ya race for sure. I will be heading there for Round 8, and hope to be staying both days this time. I should be able to just drive down myself by then...
So my weekend was full of WIN for me... I came, I watched, I felt I wanted to get out there still, and I left (way to early..lol)
