    WTB: Mountain bike (for someone 6'3")

    Looking to get a mountain bike....somewhere around a 21.5" frame.

    Not looking to spend more than $500. Money in hand ready to buy this week if possible.

    Used XL bikes are really hard to come by. You're not going to find many and those that you do are going to be well over that budget depending on the level of bike you're looking for. Not trying to discourage your search. I just went through this all and ended up paying $200 to ship a bike from arizona that i really wanted.

    I just bought a new trek 3 series a couple weeks ago and I'm a big guy(6'4" 300lbs). I really like it a lot. I don't know much about mountain bikes but the reviews say it's a really good entry level bike for the money($360).

    you'd be better served to spend the extra in gas and time to get that specialized. that trek is built for little more than cruising the cape cod canal.
