Alright, so here we go I see a lot of questions regarding pricing. Below are some of the more common parts. All these prices are for a single stage in stock color and include any and all prep and basic masking. For off the wall colors and any special masking those will have to be done on a case by case basis but these should give a good base line. If you see something not listed please feel free to ask. Do to the amount of sites that I am on it is hard to keep track and allow time to all of them. My contact info is in the first post but also listed below that would be the best way to reach me. I will make an attempt to check in here every now and again. Since i do work and live out in the sticks somewhat, I do offer free pickup and delivery within a half hour distance but can make exceptions.

Thats what i would do. I am not setup to do ceramic and dont see it in the near future. I have done a few sets of bike pipes in high temp powder and havent had any come back so i can only assume they are still holding up. Are you running a turbo? If so ceramic would be the only way to go.

Hey Phil, I need to meet up with you and show you the bike before it gets too cold out. You need to see the paint in person and I want to see if you have any ideas for other parts to paint other then the wheels

This is a dumb question (seriously) but how much weight if any does powdercoating add to the frame and wheels?

First for everything but my best guess would be a couple of ounces to each item. For example an average frame take about a half pound of powder for complete coverage. Nonthing that even the most extreme racer couldnt make up else where if you are looking to shave all the weight you can.

Also keep an eye on this post I will be running some winter specials starting in the next month or so.

Bump ... I'll be bringing you some things from the bike and from the RX7 fairly soon.

The bike parts will be blue to match the rest of the bike (your call on the exact shade) and the RX7 parts will just be black.

are you willing to work on a price if someone is willing to help tape off a design? as well as having a bunch of my bike parts powdercoated, i wanted to have a set of wheels powdercaoted for my car, but with a different colored lip and stripe down the center of each spoke. i can send you pictures of what i'm talking about.

Rearsets hold up pretty well. They will start to show signs of wear on the pegs rear brake lever and shifter. Powder is more durable then paint but it is not industructable.

Send me a picture at P_Newcomb81@yahoo.com and let me see what yo have in mind.

As for prep and masking I really dont like taking in projects that someone has started for the simple reason I dont know what has been done up to that point. Also if for some reason there is a failure or a problem down the road such as lifting or fading i would rather not have the old blame game going on and guessing as to what might have caused it.

Here are 2 examples of where I have run into this problem. One person called and said they were bringing me a swingarm that was already blasted i quoted a price on the fact that they assured me that it was down to bare metal. Once I recieved it sure enough it was almost there but not enough. If I went over what was there it would have lifted down the road for sure. So I had to spend an hour on it in my blast cabinet.

Another was a person that wanted a wheel with the lip left polished they brought them in already masked trying to save a buck even tho i told them not to. Well I dont think this person knew what a straight line was. So I ended up remasking them.

At the end of the day I try to produce the best finish and product I can after all my name and rep is on the finished product. I also try to be very fare on my prices.
