Just wanted to write a note to say thanks for Rich, Degsy and company (forgot the younger guys name) for helping me mount the tires i brought them.
It was a great experience all around. As i was telling them, a lot of shops i've been to its always a 'chore' to talk to customers and it always feels like i am annoying them. Not there, it was a good atmosphere and we chatted about bikes, cars, etc while i waited for the work to be done (also awesome they fit me right in when i came down when it was convenient for me).
rich answered my calls or called me back each time and was genuinely happy to have my business. Even called me back once when I didn't leave a message.
They did a great job mounting the tires, even though it took 3-4 times longer than expected. As with a great shop, that didn't change the price, which is rare these days.
Price was far cheaper than any other 'bring your tires in shop' locally to me and i had a good time shooting the shit with the guys. Landrics does all sorts of work and i would NOT hesitate to use them in the future for all work I can't/don't want to do.
I also got to take a look at some fiberglass work that Rich did and it was pretty sick, nothing but top work there.
anyways, another happy landric's customer.
oh hey also rich if you see this i gotta stop by this week and grab a valve stem that I left there, as I need it for another rim.
just another +1 for awesome help. these guys took care of me again with mounting some tires and pressing a bearing in. they'll get my business going forward again and again.
good to hear as i will need some work done soon.
rich or degs, are u guys able to weld a wideband sensor bung onto a midpipe for a bazzaz or pcv for self tuning? if so do u guys sell the bung or would i have to provide the bung? i am unsure if my midpipe is ss or ti.
If its a stainless mid pipe I'm almost 100% sure they can weld it up for you. I don't believe they would have the parts, but I'm sure they could order them for you if you talk to them about it. If its Ti you might be out of luck
give them a call

Calling them today thanks. I saw an old number for landric but found a number from the bomo site.
thanks for another plug man.. much appreciated.
as far as the welding, give us a call shouldnt be an issue.. its most likely a stainless tube.

degs & rich...u guys going to kill me. I spoke to motomummy & he stated that the mid pipe is titanium. I took the mid-pipe off today & noticed some blue-ish color where the spring goes & also at both the welds. i'm still not 100% but take a look:

They don't look like ti welds to me.

Ok. I won't be certain until I see it but it certainly looks like stainless to me. Ti welds have a gold color and are usually quite a bit cleaner than that. They look more like brazing than welding.Originally Posted by boloson
